The pollution and the rubbish that (the) humans produce is making the environment worse.(in) On the one hand, we know that humans produce a lot of pollution because they don´t recycle, so they produce a lot of rubbish too. (in) On the other hand we know (about) that if we (stil) keep doing that , all the world will become dangerous for the environment. (For) To make a better environment, we must recycle and use public transport . In this way, we produce less carbon dioxide and we will make the greenhouse effect better too . We have to control our pollution, of the water and the earth because otherwise we won't be able to live on the earth. Dear director: My name is Lola and I live in Saint Bernard Street. Every day when I go to work by train I notice that near a development and a park there is a rubbish dump, that contains organic (remains) leftovers (like food), plastics, papers, glasses, metals, paints, clothes, nappies, batteries, and a lot of (diversity) different objects and substances consider(ate)ed contaminants. I (solicit prepare that instance) kindly request a solution for that, for the (next) following reasons: 1._For the (aesthetics) deteriorated image that the development is giving, (that is giving a reprehensible aspect). 2._For the health of the (persons) people that live in the development and go to the park with their children, because they could get an infection or an illness because of the rats.3._Because it is damaging the environment since it contributes to its destruction because of the decomposition process of the matter in the rubbish dump, it forms lixiviates that carry the toxic products present(s) in the rubbish, and contaminate the subterranean water, that (in occasions there) are used for human consumption and watering, and it liberates in the air a lot of important gases like methane, CO2 (gas responsible of the greenhouse effect) or toxic gases like benzene, etc. I request that you move away the rubbish dump (because) for the reasons above mentioned (up there). And I propose/suggest to install an "ecological island" for the perfect/adequate separation of rubbish. Best wishes.

The greenhouse effect is the rise in temperature that the Earth experiences because certain gases in the atmosphere (water vapor, carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide, and methane, for example) trap energy from the sun. Without these gases, heat would escape back into space and Earth’s average temperature would be about 60ºF colder. Because of how they warm our world, these gases are referred to as greenhouse gases.
Have you ever seen a greenhouse? Most greenhouses look like a small glass house. Greenhouses are used to grow plants, especially in the winter. Greenhouses work by trapping heat from the sun.

The Earth’s atmosphere is all around us. It is the air that we breathe. Greenhouse gases in the atmosphere behave much like the glass panes in a greenhouse. Sunlight enters the Earth's atmosphere, passing through the blanket of greenhouse gases. As it reaches the Earth's surface, land, water, and biosphere absorb the sunlight’s energy. Once absorbed, this energy is sent back into the atmosphere. Some of the energy passes back into space, but much of it remains trapped in the atmosphere by the greenhouse gases, causing our world to heat up.

The greenhouse effect is important. Without the greenhouse effect, the Earth would not be warm enough for humans to live. But if the greenhouse effect becomes stronger, it could make the Earth warmer than usual. Even a little extra warming may cause problems for humans, plants, and animals.
